Do I need to own a horse to take lessons at Ark Farms?
No, you do not need to own a horse. Ark Farms provides well-trained, gentle horses as part of our riding lessons. If you own a horse and wish to train on it, you can certainly bring it along or board with us.
Are there any prerequisite skills required to enroll for beginner lessons?
No prerequisites are necessary for our beginner lessons. We start with the very basics and accommodate all learners regardless of their level of experience with horses.
How long is each riding session at Ark Farms?
Each standard riding lesson lasts approximately 45 minutes, with flexibility for adjustments based on individual needs.
What safety measures are in place at Ark Farms?
Safety is a priority at Ark Farms. All riders are required to wear helmets and appropriate gear. Our grounds are maintained regularly, and all our staff are trained in first aid and emergency response. Additionally, all our horses are well-trained and matched to riders based on their size and riding skill level.
Riders under the age of 14 must ware head gear and vest, also we offer special training on proper falling and emergency manures.
